It is permissible for the husband to talk with his wife during sexual intercourse, and we are not aware of any evidence that this is prohibited. The statement that whoever does so will be endowed with a child having disability is baseless. Similarly, the statement that if one looks at his wife during sexual intercourse, she would give birth to a blind child is false as well. During sexual intercourse, it is permissible for both the spouses to look at each other’s `Awrah (private parts).
